Located on Fifth Avenue directly opposite the main entrance to the world-famous Empire State Building, Empire Management operates a portfolio of residential and commercial properties throughout Manhattan, Long Island, Bronx and Westchester. Most buildings have elevators, laundry and other features such as cable TV and high-speed internet access. Empire also manages groups of apartments in Co-Op buildings, some of which it also sponsors. The company's goal is to provide reasonably affordable housing and commercial space in the highly competetive and constantly changing New York City rental market.
Apartment buildings managed by Empire Management are located in prime neighborhoods such as Greenwich Village, Soho, Chelsea, Murray Hill, Midtown East, Flatiron, Upper East and Upper West Sides, Inwood, Morningside Heights, Washington Heights and Fort Washington areas of Upper Manhattan. Apartments are rented primarily through a network of independent brokers in cooperation with Empire's broker to ensure maximum efficiency in a high-volume leasing environment. Applicants are accepted based on a review of each application on an individual basis; there are no set income or employment criteria that must be met for approval to rent an apartment.
Commercial office buildings are located primarily in the Midtown Grand Central Terminal to Penn Station corridor, convenient to commuters from Long Island, Westchester and New Jersey. Located opposite the main entrance to the Empire State Building on Fifth Avenue, the offices of Empire Management operate from this beautiful 1905 Beaux-Arts 17 story office building with stunning architectural detail along its Fifth Avenue elevation. Office and retail space availability is advertised on the CoStar listing service used by most commercial brokers and full commissions are generally paid on most retail and office space listings.
